Our Investigation Services
Adviser Conduct: Advice Complaints
Breach of Trust: Effective Recommendations
In Australia, wealth (and financial) adviser conduct is governed by the Corporations Act 2001, ASIC regulatory guidance, and the Financial Advisers Code of Ethics (Treasury).
Advisers must act in the best interests of clients, provide appropriate and transparent advice,
prioritise client interests over their own, and avoid conflicts of interest. They are required to meet high ethical standards, disclose relevant information, and maintain professional competence through continuous education. This regulatory framework ensures that advisers deliver advice with integrity, diligence, and accountability, fostering trust and protecting consumers in the financial services sector.
Our adviser conduct advice investigations aim to reach fair and beneficial outcomes for both clients and AFS licensees, ensuring positive compliance and responsiveness to regulators' standards.

Employee Conduct Allegations
Detailed Findings and Recommendations
Employee conduct allegations that raise potential breaches of Work Health and Safety (WHS) obligations—particularly regarding psychosocial hazards—
must be investigated promptly, fairly (without a conflicted interest),
and in compliance with the WHS (NSW) and or federal law and relevant Codes of Practice. Investigations examine whether conduct exposed others to health and safety risks and assess the adequacy of control measures. Outcomes may include corrective action, discipline, regulatory notification, or broader organisational change to prevent recurrence and ensure a safe working environment.
Our investigation services aim to reach fair outcomes for both employers and employees, fostering positive workplace relationships for everyone. We specialise in providing comprehensive reports that protect the rights and interests of all parties involved, ensuring clarity and compliance.
